ONE Championship returns to the Middle East for its blockbuster ONE 171: Qatar card this Thursday, 20 February. The iconic Lusail Sports Arena will host some of the biggest names in the martial arts world.

The 11-fight main card will be topped by two World Title fights. The main event features one of the most intense rivalries in recent history. Reigning ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Joshua Pacio clashes with interim king Jarred Brooks.

This World Title unification bout will be their third fight. Brooks won their first encounter, but in the rematch, the American lost his strap via disqualification, which is a rare sight in the promotion.

Now, they are ready to settle the score and prove who's the best strawweight MMA fighter in the world. The co-main event features Jonathan Haggerty defending his ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title against Wei Rui, who has remained unbeaten since 2018.

In addition, two dangerous knockout artists Dagi Arslanaliev and Roberto Soldic will go toe-to-toe in a welterweight MMA fight. Soldic holds the distinction of being the only fighter to knock out UFC Middleweight World Champion Dricus Du Plessis.

This event will also mark the retirement of MMA legend Bibiano Fernandes. "The Flash" is a former 11-time ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion. Also, India's own Ritu Phogat will be back in action after giving birth last year to face the Japan's Ayaka Miura.
