ONE Championship: 3 Fights For Rodtang After ONE Fight Night 10

When ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon unleashed a furious elbow on Edgar Tabares last week at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III, he asserted his star power in the United States in incredible fashion.

"The Iron Man" continued his undefeated streak in ONE's flyweight Muay Thai world when he stopped the Mexican WBC Muay Thai International Champ with a second-round barrage that sent the crowd into a frenzy.

But with the historic sold-out show at 1stBank Center in Denver, Colorado, now in the history books, we look to the remainder of 2023 and the blockbuster names Rodtang could find himself up against.

Jonathan Haggerty: As requested in his post-fight interview last week, "The Iron Man" has not suppressed his hunger for gold. Instead, he plans on moving up one weight bracket to face a familiar foe in the form of newly crowned ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Jonathan "The General" Haggerty.

The Thai standout holds two victories over the Brit from their World Title meetings at flyweight, both of which Rodtang left victorious. Now that his compatriot in Nong-O is no longer the king of bantamweights, Rodtang looks at this as the perfect opportunity to double his gold.

Superlek: While Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Rodtang were due to meet this past January at ONE Fight Night 6, the two could still see an all-Thai collision this calendar year. And what a showcase it would be between two of the most highly touted strikers in the world.

Despite being open to the matchup with his compatriot, Rodtang much prefers for his fellow countryman to continue defending his ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title instead of him trying to taking it off of Superlek's shoulder.

The matchup is one that had fans salivating last January, and a rescheduling of the contest would certainly make for one of the biggest matchups that The Home of Martial Arts could make in 2023.

Takeru Segawa: Following the aforementioned victory in Denver, Colorado, Rodtang also spoke of new ONE arrival and striking phenom Takeru Segawa. The Japanese star recently put pen to paper for the world's largest martial arts organization to become his new home, and fans are expecting a huge matchup to be on offer for his inaugural outing.

Should that be the case, Segawa's opponent could come no bigger or better than "The Iron Man." If Rodtang doesn't get his wish granted and fight Haggerty for bantamweight gold, this would definitely be a fitting replacement and one that has fans already excitedly discussing.
