ONE Championship Announces Ruotolo vs. Ok, Abevi vs. Dzhabrailov for ONE Fight Night 50 Finale

New Delhi, Oct 27: The final bell of 2026 will ring in Bangkok. ONE Championship has locked in two explosive MMA showdowns for ONE Fight Night 50 on Saturday, December 19, from Lumpinee Stadium, with grappling superstar Kade Ruotolo facing Ok Rae Yoon and Maurice Abevi meeting Dzhabir Dzhabrailov.

Ruotolo is the reigning ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Champion and trains at Tenore. The American has built a 10-0 promotional record across grappling and MMA, and he now wants his fifth MMA victory against the former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion.

His MMA run began with a submission win in June 2024, and two more finishes on the canvas followed. Earlier this year he showcased a new weapon, knocking out Hiroyuki Tetsuka in the second round to show his striking has real power too.

Across from him is Ok of South Korea, a former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion with a 17-5 record and four ONE wins. He is looking to get back to winning ways after a stretch of mixed results.

Yoon announced himself in ONE by demolishing former ONE MMA World Champion Marat Gafurov in his debut, then beating legend Eddie Alvarez. That earned him a title shot, and he beat Christian Lee in a five-round war to win gold in 2021.

The reign ended in his first defense, and results have been mixed since. Facing a grappling champion who has also shown knockout power gives Yoon a perfect stage to remind the division why he once sat on top.

In the welterweight MMA bout, Swiss fighter Maurice Abevi brings a 9-1 MMA record to the global stage. He entered ONE unbeaten but lost his debut, then won three straight, two by stoppage, and is coming off a first-round TKO in under three minutes.

His opposite number, Dzhabrailov, is a Turkish prospect from Lions MMA Club Phuket with a 7-0 record and a 4-0 ONE mark. Every one of his promotional wins has come in round one, and his average bout lasts just one minute and twenty seconds.

With Abevi's momentum meeting Dzhabrailov's speed, expect little time on the clock. Together with Ruotolo and Yoon, the card gives ONE Championship a loaded finale to close out 2026 in Bangkok.
