How ONE Championship Is Giving A Global Platform To Local Athletes

In a little over a decade, ONE Championship has built a massive platform, and by the looks of its numbers, its reach will continue to grow for the foreseeable future.

And because high tides lift all ships, the Singapore-based promotion's all-striking fighters are also seeing the benefits of a more global audience with the promotion holding events outside it's base in Singapore.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon

Rodtang, Stamp, and Allazov become global superstars

ONE's global stage has allowed Muay Thai and kickboxing fighters to grow massive followings. Take ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon, for instance. When "The Iron Man" arrived in the promotion, his social media following was that of a fighter with a dream.

The future Thai megastar only had 14,000 followers across social media. But as Rodtang conquered the flyweight Muay Thai division with his boisterous charisma and lightning-fast hand speed, he amassed a following of 3.6 million.

Rodtang's rise to stardom epitomizes the rags-to-riches story. He came from nothing to become one of the wealthiest stars in Muay Thai today. Undoubtedly, Rodtang is one of the most successful names in Muay Thai in the modern era. And it's ONE's evolving platform that has allowed him to soar to new heights.

Other successful stars include fellow Thai sensation Stamp Fairtex. The former two-sport ONE World Champion has captured attention with her dynamic striking pedigree and entertaining dances en route to the Circle.

Since dominating ONE's Muay Thai and kickboxing ranks and winning the ONE Women's Atomweight MMA World Grand Prix, Stamp has become one of the most beloved names in combat sports.

But when she debuted in the world's largest organization, she had a mere 2,000 followers across online platforms. Now, the Fairtex Training Center representative has an incredible 1.4 million followers to her name. It's clear that fans have been encapsulated by her positive aura.

ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Chingiz Allazov has the largest online following of all fighters in ONE's striking arts. With 5.1 million followers, "Chinga" brings plenty of eyes every time he shows up.

The ONE Championship platform

ONE's online presence speaks volumes. And its success in the U.S. in May proves that the promotion is growing exponentially. No matter the discipline, its ability to make stars is impressive. The weekly ONE Friday Fights series also allows rising Muay Thai stars to step out from the shadows.

With greater compensation and grander exposure across the board, opportunities are now open up to all athletes to grow their names. This enables fighters better sponsorships and the freedom to focus solely on their careers.

All in all, the benefits that ONE's athletes receive only makes for better, stronger athletes, which in turn creates bigger and better divisions. And as ONE continues to conquer the combat sports world, fighters can expect to see the same benefits.
