ONE Championship: Prajanchai And Aliff Set For World Title Unification Clash At The Inner Circle 43
New Delhi, Oct 19: ONE Championship has announced a blockbuster ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title unification bout. Reigning divisional king Prajanchai Pongsuphan PK will face interim champion Aliff Sor Dechapan at The Inner Circle 43 on Friday, December 18.
Prajanchai trains at PK Saenchai Muay Thai gym and is a four-time ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion. The former Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion holds a career record of 344-54 and a ONE record of 7-3, and is regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound strikers on the planet.

The 32-year-old legendary striker won the Muay Thai title in his opening promotional bout, beating legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao in 2021. He lost it in his first defense in 2022, then knocked out Sam-A in 2023 to become interim kingpin before knocking out Joseph Lasiri to avenge that loss and become undisputed champion.
Last year, he defended the belt against English striker Ellis Badr Barboza. After a year away due to injury and surgery, he returned last week in a kickboxing bout but suffered a loss against Wang Junguang, setting up a chance to bounce back.
Standing across from him is the 22-year-old Aliff, a Malaysian-Thai striker from Sor Dechapan and the reigning ONE Interim Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion. He holds a career record of 63-9, a ONE record of 10-2, and rides a six-fight winning streak.
Aliff claimed the interim title in his most recent fight, knocking out Sam-A in July to become Malaysia's first-ever ONE World Champion. The stoppage also earned him a US$50,000 performance bonus. He later faced off with Prajanchai, and now the two will finally meet.
With both titles on the line, the unification bout pits a four-time ONE World Champion looking to rebound against a young titleholder riding momentum. The winner will emerge as the undisputed ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion heading into the new year.
