ONE Championship’s Rodtang Meets Hollywood Star Chris Hemsworth On Extraction 3 Set In Thailand

Muay Thai megastar Rodtang "The Iron Man" Jitmuangnon swapped the ring for a movie set, visiting Hollywood superstar Chris Hemsworth in Thailand. The Australian actor is in the country filming his action movie Extraction 3, and the former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion paid him a visit.

Rodtang travelled to Ratchaburi, Thailand, where Hemsworth and his team are shooting the action-packed film. Notably, Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda also featured in the first Extraction movie.

Hemsworth wrote on his Instagram: "Honoured to have Muay Thai legend Rodtang Jitmuangnon visit us on the Extraction 3 set today! All class, absolute champion. Thanks for the personalised gloves, straight to the trophy room!"

Rodtang also posted a video on his Instagram showing the two men hugging and sharing a laugh, alongside a heartfelt message of thanks to the Hollywood star. "Thank you for the opportunity to meet you, my brother. I will always love and respect you."

The 29-year-old Rodtang represents Jitmuangnon Gym and holds a career record of 274-44 with a ONE record of 17-3. Widely regarded as the biggest Muay Thai megastar in the world, he remains a global fan favourite.

Hemsworth is an Australian actor world famous for playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. He is also one of the highest paid actors worldwide, which makes his warm reception for the Muay Thai icon a notable moment.

Back in the ring, Rodtang is preparing for the 2026-2027 ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix quarterfinal. He will face fellow Thai legend and former Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Hama at The Inner Circle 38 on Friday, November 13.

The two were scheduled to meet last November, but the fight was cancelled after Rodtang fell ill. Now they get a second chance, and the winner will book a spot in the semifinal of the Grand Prix.
