ONE Championship: Thai Megastar Stamp Fairtex Reflects On ONE Fight Night 10 Victory

When Stamp Fairtex danced her way down to the Circle in Denver, Colorado, last week, the applause she received from the sold-out 1stBank Center was just the beginning of her US arrival.

The Thai striking star meet Alyse Anderson on the main card of ONE Championship's western debut at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on May 6, in a true battle of striker-versus-grappler.

Met with a massive ovation during her world-renowned walkout and signature dance routine to go along with it, Stamp gave fans their money's worth before she'd even set foot inside the ONE Circle.

The opening stanza saw moments that favored "Lil Savage," including a triangle attempt from Anderson that gave Stamp questions to answer. But after mixing it up with Anderson in her home country, Stamp asserted her undeniable prowess with a thunderous liver kick in the second round.

The former two-sport ONE World Champion arrived with plenty of momentum behind her, and after giving the American fan base a new outlook on Muay Thai, Stamp left Denver with a multitude of new followers.

"I was very surprised and very inspired when the crowd was going crazy when I came out," she said. "It gave me so much energy to perform."

Having demolished Anderson in persuasive fashion, Stamp earned her spot in one half of the ONE Interim Atomweight World Title fight that will probably take place against MMA veteran Ham Seo Hee.

Ham rides a three-fight winning streak inside the organization, having recently defeated Itsuki Hirata at ONE Fight Night 8 to earn her own interim ONE World Title opportunity. However, Stamp has faced a litany of tough competition across three disciplines in the organization.

While Stamp believes the formidable ONE Atomweight World Champion in Angela Lee is the toughest adversary she's faced in the division, she admits the South Korean slugger isn't far behind.

"I will say Angela Lee is much tougher," the dancing dueller said. "[But Hirata] is the toughest opponent I will have faced, actually."
