ONE Championship: Zebaztian Kadestam’s Top 3 Knockouts In The ONE Circle

Former ONE Welterweight World Champion Zebaztian Kadestam will enter the furnace once again next month on Saturday, 6 May when he meets fellow welterweight slugger Roberto Soldic when ONE ventures West for the first time for ONE Fight Night 10 at the 1stBank Center in Denver, Colorado.

"The Bandit" Kadestam has predicted that this contest will be the best fight in ONE Championship welterweight history. With that said, let's refresh ourselves with Kadestam's top three knockouts in ONE.

Zebaztian Kadestam

Valmir Da Silva: Following his reign as the divisional king, the Swede found himself on a string of negative outings.Having lost three bouts on the bounce, "The Bandit" was in dire need of victory.

So, when he met Valmir Da Silva at ONE: FULL CIRCLE in February last year, he knew a statement had to be made. The 32-year-old dispatched Da Silva in just under 90 seconds, reintroducing himself to a division he once ruled and won his next bout also in similar fashion.

Tyler McGuire: When it matters most, you can always rely on Kadestam. Whether he's down on his luck or in the biggest bout of his life, the Swedish scrapper delivers.

So, when Kadestam met then-undefeated Tyler McGuire at ONE: WARRIOR'S DREAM in November 2018 for the vacant ONE Welterweight World Title, "The Bandit" ensured it was coming home with him.

Four-and-a-half rounds down in a contest that was nearing the judges' scorecards, Kadestam took the strap's destiny into his own hands and knocked the American out cold. The win ensured his place in ONE's history books and continued to show you can never count "The Bandit" out.

Luis Santos: When Kadestam first arrived on short-notice in 2017 at ONE: DYNASTY OF HEROES, he made sure to assert himself in the welterweight division immediately.

The former king looked to have bitten off more than he could chew in his inaugural outing against Luis Santos, who comfortably controlled Kadestam for two and a half rounds of the fight.

Down but never out, Kadestam stopped Santos in his tracks and managed to counter one of the Brazilian's many takedowns. From there, he reigned down with relentless knee strikes to the veteran's head and inserted himself as a welterweight threat.

Now, Kadestam faces Soldic in what could be another World Title eliminator - if he can shock the world anew against one of the most prolific knockout artists around.
