As Alyse Anderson eagerly awaits ONE Championship's sold-out US debut next month, the American is well aware of what a victory can do for her career.
That's because on Saturday, 6 May, "Lil Savage" meets #1-ranked atomweight contender Stamp Fairtex when The Home of Martial Arts brings ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III to Colorado's 1stBank Center.

The Michigan native views the opportunity to face a star like Stamp as a chance that she couldn't possibly refuse. "It's like the best opportunity that you can get. So right away, I just loved the opportunity and said yes," Anderson said.
"Then it was dealing with coaches, talking about elevation and travel, and the camp. And once they sorted it all out, I just waited for the contract, and I signed it."
The bout in question will offer an intriguing affair on the historic main card, as stylistically this makes for a classic striker-versus-grappler matchup.
With the grappling prowess Anderson possesses, it comes as no surprise to either the 5-2 battler or her team that the Fairtex fighter plans to keep the bout standing.
Anderson notched her first victory in ONE last May at ONE 157, submitting Asha Roka inside the first frame. That being said, Anderson has already proven she's more than just a grappler.
Holding as many submission victories as she does knockouts, Anderson feels well prepared for the style of fight that Stamp will bring to Colorado.
"I don't think it's a surprise that she's just going to try to strike. It's like the same game plan she had against Angela Lee. And I feel like she will tighten up her jiu-jitsu and takedown defense," Anderson said.
"I'm going to be training hard for the same time she will be, working on that. So it's not a surprise what kind of matchup this will be."
