ONE Fight Night 10: Roberto Soldic and Zebaztian Kadestam Clash In Potential World Title Eliminator

Singapore, April 5: Though ONE Championship's United States debut will be headlined by the promotion's biggest championship fight of its existence, the main card also features a potential ONE World Title eliminator.

Welterweight contenders Roberto "Robocop" Soldic and Zebaztian "The Bandit" Kadestam will lock horns when the world's largest martial arts organization arrives at Colorado's 1stBank Center on Saturday, 6 May, for ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III.

The inevitable slugfest comes off the back of Soldic's promotional debut last December at ONE on Prime Video 5, where an accidental low blow from Russian prospect Murad Ramazanov ended the bout in a no contest.

Despite the anticlimactic finish, Soldic plans to remind fans why he was the hottest free agent in town next month against Kadestam. Soldic joined ONE after achieving his goal in becoming a two-division champion in Europe's largest promotion, KSW. There, he amassed 17 knockouts in 20 career wins.

Fans expected him to immediately enter the ONE World Title fold, and a victory over fellow European and former ONE Welterweight World Champion Kadestam may put him there. Since parting ways with the throne in 2019 to Kiamrian Abbasov, "The Bandit" has remained just outside of title conversations.

However, the Swedish swinger has maintained his reputation as a finisher and currently finds himself riding a two-fight winning streak, with both victories coming by knockout in the opening frame.

With a similarly dangerous resume to Soldic, Kadestam also holds 12 knockouts in 14 victories, setting up May's all-European clash to be one that fans can relish as a barnburner.

The explosive welterweights have both earned major accolades throughout their combat careers. While fans may look at the clash as a battle between an old royal and a potential future king, the runs both men currently ride make the ramifications of ONE Fight Night 10's collision all the more sweet.
