In his first bout since parting ways with the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Title, Superbon Singha Mawynn returns to action this Saturday, 10 June, for an opportunity to redeem himself.
The Thai striker meets #5-ranked contender Tayfun Ozcan on the main card of ONE Fight Night 11: Eersel vs. Menshikov at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium with plans to kickstart his run back to the top of the featherweight kickboxing division.

In order to do so, though, he'll have to overcome the will of a challenger who also finds himself in need of a pivotal win. With that, let's take a look at three keys to victory for Superbon in Bangkok, Thailand, this weekend.
1. Control The Pace: Superbon's ability to control the range and dictate the flow of fights is an attribute that has made him so successful. In fact, this has enabled him to pick off opponents and make them play to his strengths without them even realizing.
A true master of the sport, Superbon will find himself in comfortable territory if he can maintain control of this fight's flow. After all, this fight will be all about instilling Superbon's confidence and getting back to winning ways. So, keeping it simple against Ozcan will go a long way.
2. Anticipate Ozcan's Aggression: The Turkish tussler is a legend of the kickboxing realm, but so far he has struggled against the upper echelon since joining ONE - and they don't come much bigger or better than Superbon.
Fitting of the nickname "Turbine," Ozcan is known for his vintage flurries when closing in on opposition and hunting for a finish, but the counter-striking of Superbon works just as effectively.
The former ONE featherweight kickboxing king has tremendous counter-striking skills, having showcased it in notable victories over Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong and Marat Grigorian. So, Superbon will be patiently waiting to make Ozcan pay for his mistakes.
3. Utilize Head Kicks: Having already established his kicking prowess in ONE with the promotion's Knockout of the Year in 2021 against Giorgio Petrosyan at ONE: FIRST STRIKE, Superbon could make a statement if he chooses to unleash them on his Turkish adversary.
As noted with Ozcan's flurries, there are moments when his hands lower when electing to fire big left and right hooks onto his opposition. This is a moment when Superbon could land one of his heavy high kicks.
If the Thai sensation wants the chance to rematch the newly crowned king and old foe Chingiz Allazov, he will be wise to send an emphatic statement when he meets Ozcan this weekend.
