ONE Fight Night 11: Legendary Kickboxer Nieky Holzken Chases 100 Wins

ONE Championship returns to the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium for ONE Fight Night 11: Eersel vs. Menshikov on Saturday, June 10, and among those stepping back in the ring is striking legend Nieky Holkzen as he continues his quest for 100 professional wins.

"The Natural" is nearing his goal with 94 victories, and he'll hope to take the next step in attaining triple figures when he meets former ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Champion challenger Arian Sadikovic in lightweight kickboxing action next month.

Nieky Holzken

Holzken was last seen at ONE X in March 2022, coming up short to former ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Sinsamut Klinmee via a second-round knockout, but the seasoned veteran returns with plans for one final surge up the lightweight realm.

The Dutchman's devastating striking has seen him topple talents like John Wayne Parr, Cosmo Alexandre, and Mustapha Haida during his stint in the promotion, and his next win could be against the German striker.

The pair have faced similar opposition in recent times, as both have gone to battle with two-sport ONE World Champion Regian Eersel - who competes in the night's main event - and both combatants will feel they have something to prove.

"Game Over" was last in action against Eersel last April at ONE 156, taking the World Champion the distance when he challenged him for his lightweight kickboxing crown.

The German phenom currently holds an even record in his ONE tenure at 1-1, and a victory over a legend like Holzken would give him further confidence and momentum to try his luck against the Surinamese striker again.

For "The Natural," a victory would mean edging closer to entering the illustrious 100-win club and could potentially result in a trilogy bout with Eersel, who he has fallen short to on two occasions.

It would be a fairytale story near the end of the Dutchman's career if he could claim the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title, and the third time could be the charm for Holzken if he can overcome the prowess of Sadikovic at ONE Fight Night 11 next month.
