ONE Fight Night 12: Superlek vs. Khalilov promised to uncover a few of ONE Championship's next world title challengers, and by the end of the show, that is indeed what happened.

The event went down this past Friday, 14 July, at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and featured nine explosive kickboxing, mixed martial arts, and Muay Thai battles.

In the headliner, Superlek Kiatmoo9 improved his promotional winning streak to seven after wiping the canvas with Tagir Khalilov in their 135.25-pound catchweight Muay Thai clash. It took under two rounds for the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champ to score the second-round TKO courtesy of his elbows.

Ushering in that bout was the co-main event featherweight MMA fight between #2-ranked Garry Tonon and #5-ranked Shamil Gasanov. The battle played out mostly on the canvas, where Tonon sunk in a knee bar in round two to get the tap and retain his spot in the talent-thick division.

When the dust settled at the famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, five of ONE Championship's stars each bagged USD 50K for their performances. Tonon, Bogdan Shumarov, Phetjeeja, Akbar Abdullaev, and Amir Aliakbari all took home extra earnings courtesy of ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
