Stephen Loman has been edging toward the top of ONE Championship's bantamweight division for two years. "The Sniper" has won all three appearances inside the Circle so far. And now his biggest fight yet provides him with the chance to propel himself further up the rankings.
The number two ranked contender faces former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion and top-ranked John Lineker at ONE Fight Night 14 on Saturday, 30 September, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Loman has had his eye on the weight bracket's gold since his arrival in the promotion. He has stormed through every opponent placed in front of him. And last time around, Loman earned the biggest win of his career to assert himself as a threat to the division's elite.
The 19-fight veteran bested former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Bibiano Fernandes at ONE on Prime Video 4 last November over three rounds. The victory saw him go 3-0 in ONE, while extending his overall winning streak to an impressive 11 in a row.
But now, "The Sniper" has the former king Lineker locked in his crosshairs. What's more, he knows that if he can pull the trigger and suppress the heavy artillery posed by the Brazilian brute, there'll be no doubts about him getting the next shot at Fabricio Andrade's bantamweight gold.
"I need to get a big win against John Lineker. Then if I [win], I know I'm next for Fabricio Andrade," Loman said. "No more qualms, no more anything - I'm next in line for a championship fight."
Former ONE bantamweight overlord John Lineker has made a name for himself with the knockout power he's displayed throughout his career. "Hands of Stone" has cemented himself in striking folklore with 18 finishes and dozens of barn burners.
At 17-2, Stephen Loman has six knockouts on his resume. But despite the difference in figures, Loman rates his own handiwork highly. And at ONE Fight Night 14, he plans to fight fire with fire against the knockout specialist.
"I think I match up with his striking well because he's an inside fighter, so I'll train for that style while I have the time. I'll train everything so I can go toe-to-toe with him. I'll polish everything and use every single one of my tools," Loman added.
