ONE Fight Night 14 Results: Stamp Becomes Three-Sport World Champion With Historic Win Over Ham Seo Hee

By Mike Joseph

There wasn't a dry eye at the Singapore Indoor Stadium this past weekend when Stamp Fairtex became the first-ever three-sport ONE World Champion at an emotionally charged ONE Fight Night 14.

Former ONE Atomweight MMA World Champion Angela Lee announced her retirement ahead of the September 30 main event. The 27-year-old will now focus on her new non-profit venture, Fightstory, in the wake of the tragic passing of her sister Victoria Lee in December.

With the title declared vacant, it was Stamp who seized the moment with a crushing body shot knockout win over South Korean star Ham Seo Hee.

After a tense opening stanza, the Thai megastar was forced to overcome a flash knockdown in the second round, as Ham stole the ascendancy with a signature straight left.

Stamp threatened an armbar in the dying seconds of the frame and continued the momentum in the third round before a straight right to the body sent the #2 contender stumbling backward.

The Fairtex Training Center representative swooped in for the finish, unloading another volley of punches including another blow to the body that crumbled Ham. The referee waved off the action at 1:04 of the frame.

The victory landed Stamp a World Title in a third sport, following her earlier reigns as both the ONE Women's Atomweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion.

The 25-year-old also took home a US$50,000 performance bonus for her efforts, courtesy of ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

In the co-main event, ONE Women's Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Smilla Sundell proved too much for atomweight Muay Thai queen Allycia Hellen Rodrigues.

Rodrigues began the fight brightly, as the Brazilian landed a series of thudding counter left hooks on an advancing Sundell. The Swedish star landed a left of her own in the dying seconds of the round that appeared to rock Rodrigues.

The punch proved to be the turning point of the fight as Sundell relentlessly swarmed Rodrigues, landing volleys of punches and wearing her foe down by imposing her size in the clinch.

Rodrigues appeared to tire in round three, as the furious pace began to tell. The referee eventually stepped in to save the challenger in the dying seconds of the stanza, as "The Hurricane" unloaded shots onto Rodrigues, who was pinned against the Circle wall.

The 18-year-old phenom also netted a US$50,000 bonus for her first defence of the title she claimed with a dominant win over Jackie Buntan back in April 2022.

Earlier in the evening, Danielle Kelly outlasted old foe Jessa Khan over 10 minutes of action to capture the inaugural ONE Women's Atomweight Submission Grappling World Title via unanimous decision.

The American grappling sensation survived an early scare as Khan took her back, before roaring back into the contest with a series of leg lock attempts that secured a pair of fight-winning catches.

Asa Ten Pow was also awarded a performance bonus for his crushing knockout win over Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon in the third round of their bantamweight Muay Thai battle, as eight of the blockbuster card's 10 fights ended inside the distance.
