ONE Fight Night 14: 3 Under The Radar Fights To Watch On Stamp vs Ham Card

By Mike Joseph

ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham is just two days away. The martial arts card is stacked to the brim with notable matchups, including three World Title fights to boot.

The action goes down on Saturday, 30 September, when ONE Championship returns to the Singapore Indoor Stadium. There, Stamp Fairtex and Ham Seo Hee collide for the ONE Interim Atomweight MMA World Title.

ONE Fight Night 14 Under The Radar Fights

With such a glistening card packed with World Championship fights, it's easy to miss some of the other battles taking place. So with that, let's take a look at three fights that have been flying under the radar at ONE Fight Night 14.

1. John Lineker vs. Stephen Loman: Outside of the World Title bouts, ONE Fight Night 14 has a potential championship eliminator. Former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion John Lineker meets #2-ranked Stephen Loman in a pivotal divisional matchup.

Lineker has wanted to regain the crown since losing it to Fabricio Andrade this past February at ONE Fight Night 7. But since then, "Hands of Stone" returned to winning ways in August against Kim Jae Woong.

However, Loman has been quietly working his way up the ranks, and "The Sniper" now has Lineker in his crosshairs. The Filipino has amassed a perfect 3-0 slate in ONE to add to his 11-fight winning streak overall.

Loman will look to cement his status as the next top bantamweight when he meets Lineker in just a matter of days. And with the massive repercussions of victory this weekend, it's undoubtedly the biggest battle of both men's careers.

2. Eduard Folayang vs. Amir Khan II: It's been five years since former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Eduard Folayang and Amir Khan first locked horns. Half a decade later, the pair will clash once more under very different circumstances.

Their first battle was way back at ONE: CONQUEST OF CHAMPIONS in November 2018. The vacant ONE Lightweight MMA World Title was on the line. And on that night, it was Folayang who left with the gold draped over his shoulder after five rounds.

Khan has matured a lot since their first encounter when he was only 23 years old. Now at 28 years old, there's still plenty of time for the Singaporean to craft a strong campaign in the lightweight division.

ONE Fight Night 14's meeting will give Khan a sense of motivation to write the wrongs of yesteryear. But Folayang hopes he can tap into his old self and be as good as he once was.

3. Dmitry Menshikov vs. Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong: In the Muay Thai realm, Dmitry Menshikov arrived full of steam as a decorated striker. But after falling to ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Champion Regian Eersel, the Russian has a point to prove in the weight bracket against Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong.

Menshikov's credentials placed him as a dangerous foe for Eersel this past June at ONE Fight Night 11. However, the tenacity of "The Immortal" never let him get going as Menshikov suffered a first-round defeat.

The 25-year-old powerhouse will now look to return to former glory and dispatch Rungrawee, who's riding a wave of momentum in his own right. The Thai striker has managed a trifecta of wins in ONE, showcasing clinics en route to unanimous decision wins.

Rungrawee could further bolster his divisional positioning against Menshikov this weekend at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, but he'll have to overcome a hungry Russian juggernaut looking to recover his reputation.
