It's safe to say that ONE Championship's momentum has been running on all cylinders over the last four weeks. But the world's largest martial arts organization isn't hitting the brakes any time soon.
The Singapore-based promotion returns with another double-feature this weekend in Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. And ONE Fight Night 15 will take center stage on Saturday, 7 October, when former ONE Featherweight MMA World Champion Thanh Le and Ilya Freymanov vie for the division's interim crown.

The knockout artists have set themselves apart from the rest of the featherweight realm lately. And after ONE Featherweight MMA World Champion Tang Kai's prolonged injury has prevented him from returning to action, an interim World Title matchup will decide who's next for the Chinese phenom.
Le has crafted a destructive resume across six promotional outings, with five of them coming by knockout en route to his reign as featherweight king. However, his time on the throne wasn't as long as the Vietnamese-American would've liked. He lost the gold to Tang Kai at ONE 160 in August 2022.
Now he has the chance to cement his position as #1-contender. But the challenge awaiting him is just as hungry in Freymanov. The Russian has been around the promotion a fraction of the time Le has, but he's quickly made himself known to the division.
Freymanov began his trail of wreckage against former two-sport ONE World Champion Martin Nguyen at ONE on Prime Video 2 in October 2022. Following that, the 27-year-old saw off Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg at ONE Fight Night 11 this past June with a rear-naked choke.
Now with a chance to cement themselves as the next challenger for Tang when he returns to action, there's everything to fight for with the ONE Interim Featherweight World Championship on the line.
