ONE Fight Night 15: Musumeci vs Aoki, Di Bella vs Williams Added To Card

ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Champion Mikey Musumeci has been on an unbelievable run in ONE Championship. "Darth Rigatoni" has surpassed every test set in front of him. And now another legend will attempt to defeat the submission magician at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

Musumeci battles former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Shinya Aoki at ONE Fight Night 15 on October 6 in Bangkok, Thailand. This time around, there will be no World Titles up for grabs as the grappling superstars collide in openweight submission grappling.

Musumeci has made short work of his fellow flyweight grapplers. The 27-year-old has submitted three of his five opponents, with his most recent coming just two weeks ago versus ONE Strawweight MMA World Champion Jarred Brooks at ONE Fight Night 13.

With 58 MMA bouts to his name and 17 of those taking place in ONE, Aoki has furthered his legacy in combat sports. And the Japanese icon's expertise will certainly offer a unique challenge.

Luck hasn't favored Aoki in recent affairs, though. But "Tobikan Judan" has never backed down from a challenge. And what better way for the 40-year-old to turn back time and do what has been impossible than by taking on Musumeci.

Jonathan Di Bella Defends ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title Against Danial Williams

ONE Fight Night 15 will also play host to the return of ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion Jonathan Di Bella. The Canadian-Italian defends his World Title for the first time against Danial "Mini T" Williams on Saturday, 7 October.

Ten months have passed since Jonathan Di Bella captured the vacant gold against Chinese phenom Zhang Peimian. And now, he looks to continue his reign over the division at ONE Fight Night 15.

"Mini T" has challenged for a ONE World Title before. Williams met ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 earlier this past April on short notice at ONE Fight Night 8.

And with a full camp to prepare for Di Bella, Williams will look to surprise the combat sports world and take to the throne at last, one weight bracket below.
