Following ONE Fight Night 16, two-sport ONE World Champion Jonathan Haggerty currently presides in a league of his own. After earning ONE Championship's prestigious bantamweight Muay Thai crown earlier this year, he added to his legacy in devastating fashion this past weekend.
"The General" scored a second-round knockout victory over bantamweight MMA titleholder Fabricio Andrade on Saturday, 4 November, as the sporting standouts vyed for the vacant ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title in Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

The Englishman's astounding victory has seen him earn two World Titles in as many fights. Many doubted Haggerty's striking acumen entering both outings, but the Londoner's word, and firepower, proved to be worth its weight in gold as he scored another history-making knockout.
"I wasn't surprised at all. I was gunning for the knockout, I've been saying all week that he will be knocked out. I feel like he knew himself that he was going to be stopped and beat," Haggerty said.
"He was just fronting it out and showed face, which is what you have to do as a fighter. You can't show that you're scared, you can't show any weaknesses. But tonight was my night, and he shouldn't have been in there with me."
After earning the second-round finish of Andrade, the new bantamweight kickboxing overlord revealed his dream of three-sport stardom. "The General" has conquered two of three bantamweight realms in just six months.
Haggerty plans to meet Andrade in the future for the Brazilian's MMA gold. But before he ventures into uncharted territory once more, the Brit vows to be a fighting champion back home at the top of the bantamweight Muay Thai division.
"I feel like I need to defend my Muay Thai belt now. I said it before, I'll say it again. You're not the world champion until you defend your belt. So, let's defend this Muay Thai belt and get the show on the road," Haggerty said.
"MMA sounds great, and I'm in no rush. I'll take it step-by-step and go with the flow. When it feels right, I'll go for it," the new two-sport king of ONE Championship said on his next goal.
