ONE Championship has drawn the curtain on its U.S. primetime series for 2023 with a bang. The all-Muay Thai ONE Fight Night 17 card delivered seven knockouts from eight fights at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 9.
The night was capped by Roman Kryklia's crushing knockout over Australia's Alex Roberts to claim the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai World Title. Kryklia became a two-sport ONE World Champion after a competitive opening round that saw him score a knockdown before being wobbled by an elbow in round one.

But the towering Ukrainian's speed advantage was telling in the second round. He needed just 25 seconds to land the fight-ending left hook and walk out with the inaugural heavyweight Muay Thai strap to go with his ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title and US$50,000 performance bonus to boot.
The co-headliner may have been the only fight to go the distance, but there were no complaints from the fans after "Smokin'" Jo Nattawut and Luke Lessei fought out what is surely a late contender for "Muay Thai Fight of the Year" honors.
America's Lessei came out firing in his first ONE appearance, but it was Nattawut's relentless punch attacks that ultimately scored him the judges' nods. U.K. star Jacob Smith and Russian knockout artist Dmitry Menshikov took out the other performance bonus awards on the night.
Apart from the main event and co-main event, every other bout on the eight-fight card ended in stoppages. Here is a look at the final results of ONE Fight Night 17:
