Two-sport ONE World Champion Jonathan Haggerty had the greatest year of his career in 2023, and now he has his first date set for 2024 as he makes the first defense of his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title.
"The General" headlines ONE Fight Night 19 on Saturday, 17 February, when he meets #2-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender Felipe Lobo inside Bangkok, Thailand's iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium next month.

Haggerty arrived in the bantamweight Muay Thai division in April 2022 at ONE Fight Night 9, overthrowing former longtime king Nong-O Hama in less than a round for the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title.
The British star stunned the Muay Thai world by knocking out the Thai legend, but Haggerty's quest for bantamweight dominance wasn't done there either. Instead, "The General' returned this past November at ONE Fight Night 16, vying for the vacant ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Title.
Haggerty faced ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Fabricio Andrade in the main event of ONE Fight Night 16, scoring his second consecutive knockout in a row when he stopped the former Muay Thai disciple in the second frame to achieve history as a two-sport ONE World Champion.
Naturally, Andrade's teammate in Lobo has been looking to get his hands on the Brit, hoping to avenge his teammate. Haggerty and Lobo traded barbs in the aftermath of ONE Fight Night 16, with the Englishman telling Lobo that he's next in line.
Lobo's skills are certainly not one to be overlooked, however. "Demolition Man" is 3-1 in four fights in ONE Championship, and he lived up to his nickname last time around against Saemapetch Fairtex at ONE Fight Night 9.
The Brazilian stopped Saemapetch in the third round of their bantamweight Muay Thai fight to insert himself back into the World Title picture following a prior defeat to Nong-O at ONE X in March 2022.
With a new king sitting loud and proud at the top, Lobo has a second chance at snatching the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title and lacing it over his shoulder. So, this all-striking encounter should have fans excited for what's bound to be a heated battle in Bangkok.
