Two of the hardest punchers in martial arts will meet this Saturday, 11 January, at ONE Fight Night 27. Former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion John Lineker will look to continue his rise in Muay Thai when he faces dangerous Thai opponent Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai.
"Hands of Stone" will try to defeat "Left Meteorite" in front of the Thai's home crowd at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The MMA legend in Lineker made his Muay Thai debut last September at ONE 168: Denver, where he knocked out Asa Ten Pow.

Overall, Lineker has gone 2-0 against top Muay Thai prospects. Now, he's facing his toughest challenge yet. Kulabdam's left hand can send any opponent into oblivion. Lineker acknowledges this fact and says that while his opponent is dangerous, he will be looking for a knockout.
"I've been following Kulabdam. I've watched some fights, and he's a guy who has a very versatile game, a dangerous guy. I believe it will be a test of fire for me. Kulabdam is a guy who grew up doing Muay Thai," Lineker said.
"As in all my fights, I go into the ring to win by knockout. I don't like to leave it in the hands of the judges. So it won't be any different in this fight. I just can't say for sure which round it will be."
The 34-year-old superstar's unprecedented success in Thailand's national sport has sparked conversations about a dream match between him and Rodtang Jitmuangnon. That said, Lineker would be interested in sharing ring with the Thai megastar because both have similar fighting styles.
"Yes, I intend to fight Rodtang someday because of his fighting style, the way he likes to fight, which is the same as mine. We like to stand in the middle of the ring and exchange punches until one of us falls," he said. "It would be a great fight against him. His style is what I like to see, and it's the style I like to put into practice when I step into the ring."
