ONE Fight Night 32: At just 18 years old, Johan Ghazali has become a must-watch fighter every time he steps into the ONE Championship ring. The young prodigy returns to the historic Lumpinee Stadium this Saturday, 7 June, for another one.
The Malaysian-American sensation squares off against Diego Paez in a flyweight Muay Thai showdown at ONE Fight Night 32. Following a loss in his last outing, "Jojo" is eager to showcase his evolved skill set.

Just like in his previous fight, he has been training with ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon at his gym in Thailand. Ghazali feels confident about the lessons he learnt from the decorated striking veteran.
"I'm fit and ready to go. Superbon's been watching over my training a lot," Ghazali said. "He has been holding pads for me, so it's different. I know that Superbon really wants me to win because he's been training me hard. So, yeah, I'm ready. I can fight tomorrow."
In January 2025, he faced the toughest test of his career against emerging star Johan Estupinan, who pushed him to the limit and secured a unanimous decision victory. Ghazali has now reflected on that bout and the things that he learnt from the previous fight camp.
"[Against Estupinan] there were bits and pieces of Superbon, Nong-O, and Petchtanong's game all in there," Ghazali said. "And that was me only in a two-month camp. For this fight, you'll see a much better version of that, just much more advanced in this next fight."
Coming from a family of Muay Thai fighters, Ghazali has established himself as a knockout artist, scoring five finishes in eight ONE Championship bouts. This time around, the young superstar is sticking to the same simple game plan - go for a knockout.
"I'm always on the hunt for the knockout. I'll always be a pressure fighter, but I'll be more technical in this fight. You'll definitely see more skills, more feints, more fakes, and more usage of all my weapons," Ghazali said whilst revealing his gameplan.
Interestingly, Ghazali's last opponent Johan Estupinan will be in action just before his fight against a kickboxing contender and Japanese veteran Taiki Naito. Fans in India can watch this event live on JioHotstar and Star Sports Select 2 at 6:30 a.m. IST on 7 June.
