One Fight Night 41: Brazilian MMA Veterans Lineker And Souza Return To Action

By MyKhel Staff

Former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion John Lineker will face two-time K-1 Champion Ben Woolliss in a featherweight kickboxing battle, while Victoria Souza challenges undefeated Canadian star Anastasia Nikolakakos in an atomweight MMA contest at ONE Fight Night 41 on Saturday, 14 March.

The 35-year-old Lineker has spent his ONE Championship tenure proving his striking prowess transcends combat sports disciplines. The Brazilian made his promotional debut in 2019 and proceeded to capture bantamweight MMA gold through an epic championship performance.

After his title reign ended, Lineker refused to fade quietly. The veteran secured additional MMA victories before making a bold transition to Muay Thai in 2024, claiming two victories. He competed twice in 2025, splitting time between Muay Thai and kickboxing, though both outings resulted in decision losses.

"Hands of Stone" carries an 8-4 promotional record highlighted by six finishes, part of an overall MMA resume boasting 37 career victories. Now he looks to rebound against Woolliss, whose two K-1 titles prove he's no stepping stone for the Brazilian legend's comeback attempt.

The second Brazilian making her return carries equally compelling stakes. Twenty-eight-year-old Souza, a three-time Brazilian kickboxing champion, is making her comeback after giving birth to her baby girl in 2025.

Souza enters this contest riding momentum from her last two victories before stepping away for motherhood. The Brazilian faces a legitimate test in Nikolakakos, a 5-0 Canadian star making her ONE Championship debut with an unblemished record and everything to prove on the global stage.

Nikolakakos represents the kind of dangerous opponent who can either launch herself into contention or validate Souza's return as legitimate championship material. The undefeated Canadian brings experience, momentum, and hunger against a veteran who's already conquered Brazilian kickboxing's highest levels.
