Sam-A vs Elmehdi El Jamari

Thai striking icon Sam-A enters with more than three decades’ experience. His career record stands at 377 wins and 50 losses. He is a former multi-division ONE World Champion. He captured inaugural belts at flyweight Muay Thai and strawweight kickboxing. He also claimed strawweight Muay Thai gold during his ONE Championship run.

Moroccan challenger Elmehdi El Jamari is 28 and based in Barcelona. He is the younger brother of ONE athlete Zakaria El Jamari. El Jamari owns a 27-2 career record built on finishes. He debuted at ONE Fight Night 30 in 2025. There, he knocked out Thongpoon PK Saenchai in under three minutes.

El Jamari then challenged Malaysian-Thai standout Aliff Sor Dechapan next. He dropped a three-round decision after a competitive clash. That defeat halted his early surge inside the promotion. Sam-A now hunts another title shot from strawweight Muay Thai. El Jamari seeks to restart momentum by upsetting the former champion.

Suakim vs Vladimir Kuzmin

The second featured bout matches Suakim against Russia’s Vladimir Kuzmin. Suakim is a 30-year-old Thai striker with vast experience. His professional record lists 155 wins and 60 losses. He is a three-division Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion. Recent form has reshaped his ONE Championship path after early struggles.

Suakim lost two of his first three ONE Friday Fights. He then produced a six-fight winning streak inside the series. That run earned him a six-figure ONE contract. He now holds a 7-2 ONE record with five finishes. Protecting that streak against Kuzmin is crucial for his rise.

Kuzmin is 28 and brings a 5-3 ONE record. He has faced elite names during his promotional tenure. The Russian rides a two-fight winning streak into Bangkok. He has lost only once in his last five bouts. His southpaw stance and spinning attacks pose real danger at bantamweight.

Both Thai favourites enter with pressure from different directions. Sam-A targets another run toward strawweight gold at home. Suakim defends form that reshaped his standing in ONE. Their opponents arrive motivated by recent success and clear opportunity. ONE Fight Night 42 therefore offers high-stakes Muay Thai on 11 April.
