ONE Fight Night 43: Anatoly Malykhin Reclaims Heavyweight Title Retires as Triple Champion

The Inner Circle card on 15 May delivered major results at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Anatoly Malykhin stopped "Reug Reug" Oumar Kane by TKO to regain the ONE Heavyweight MMA World Title, then announced his retirement as a three-division champion.

Kane used a southpaw stance and long kicks early, trying to stay clear. Malykhin kept steady pressure, absorbing side kicks and counters across the first rounds. In round four, a clean right cross rocked Kane, and a follow-up flurry ended the fight at 1:54, moving Malykhin to 15-1.

ONE Fight Night 43: Ruotolo Returns With Dominant Win

Kade Ruotolo marked his return from a torn ACL with a TKO over Hiroyuki "Japanese Beast" Tetsuka at 2:02 of round two in their lightweight MMA clash. The ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Champion stayed perfect in MMA, improving to 4-0 with four finishes.

The first round between Ruotolo and Tetsuka was competitive and close. In round two, Ruotolo timed a sharp right cross that sent Tetsuka to the canvas. He secured full mount and landed short elbows until the referee halted the bout, earning a US$50,000 bonus from Chatri Sityodtong.

Abdulla Dayakaev edged Superlek by split decision in bantamweight Muay Thai. Mia Trevorrow beat Kokoz by unanimous decision in atomweight Muay Thai. Together with the wins for Malykhin and Ruotolo, the results closed a busy night for ONE Championship in Bangkok.

At ONE Friday Fights 154, Samingdam NF Looksuan earned a unanimous decision over Yodphupa Petkiatpet in the bantamweight Muay Thai main event. He scored a knockdown in round two for an eight-count, survived a late push, and extended his series record to 48-9 with six straight wins.

Two-time Muay Thai world champion Rungnarai Kiatmoo9 took a unanimous decision against Den Sitnayoktaweeptaphong in the strawweight co-main event. Rungnarai used sharp counters across three rounds, and a strong right hand opened a cut on Den's face, sealing a clear victory and moving his career record to 63-16.

Elvin Mammadov stopped Sanit Aekmuangnon by TKO at 2:56 of round two in flyweight Muay Thai, while Mahesuan Aekmuangnon halted Aung Tun Bo by TKO at 2:50 of round two in atomweight Muay Thai. Semih Sah Cindir beat Wang Penghui by split decision in featherweight kickboxing.

Anouwat Merlet outpointed Dafi Sor Dechapan by unanimous decision in strawweight Muay Thai. Saenmuangnoi PK Saenchai earned a unanimous decision over Asura Thiagesh in flyweight Muay Thai. Sulaiman NF Looksuan defeated Juan Martinez by majority decision in flyweight Muay Thai, and Denis Dotsenko stopped Hiroki Suzuki by TKO at 1:35 of round one in bantamweight kickboxing.
