ONE Fight Night 7 Results: Andrade Wins ONE Bantamweight World Title, Tawanchai retains Featherweight Gold

Bangkok, February 27: Fabricio Andrade won the vacant ONE Bantamweight Word Title and Tawanchai PK Saenchai retained the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Championship in ONE Fight Night 7: Lineker vs. Andrade II.

ONE Fight Night 7 event took place at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, this past Saturday (February 25).

In the main event, Andrade rematched former titleholder John "Hands of Stone" Lineker. The men picked up right where they left off last October. This time, though, Lineker looked a lot more competitive as he peppered Andrade with punches.

"Wonder Boy" soon found his rhythm in round three, however, as he damaged Lineker with punches of his own. After round four, Lineker's eye was shut and he couldn't answer the bell for round five, making Andrade the new ONE Bantamweight World Champion.

In the co-main event, Tawanchai made short work of Jamal Yusupov, stopping the Turkish fighter in just 49 seconds with low kicks.

The victory was Tawanchai's first ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title defense, and by the looks of it, he may be sitting on the thrown for some time.

Also on the under card, Martin Nguyen, Saemapetch Fairtex, Danny Kingad and Danielle Kelly earned decision wins in their respective bouts, while event closed with a first-round stoppage as Adrian Mattheis finished Zelang Zhaxi in a strawweight bout.
