Singapore, March 27: Superlek Kiatmoo9 barely broke a sweat as he retained his ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title in the main event of ONE Fight Night 8 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium during the weekend.
The divisional king marched toward another successful title defense with an emphatic performance to put short-notice challenger Danial Williams to sleep at 1:55 of the third round.

"The Kicking Machine" connected with clean and accurate shots at will throughout the encounter, using his assortment of weapons to constantly trouble the Australian-Thai dynamo.
The Kiatmoo9 Gym standout fired piston-like kicks that forced "Mini T" to scramble for an offense. Even when Williams closed the distance and let Superlek have a tase at his own medicine, the defending World Champion stayed light on his feet, pivoted away, and rained down with more powerful shots.
As the encounter wore on, one thing became clear - Williams was no match to Superlek's blistering kicks, fight IQ, and aggression.
Despite that, "Mini T" still attempted to land some damage on Superlek. Unfortunately, he soon ran into a massive knee that visibly depleted his gas tank. He showed plenty of heart but, unfortunately, that wasn't enough.
Sensing that the finish was near, Superlek stung the challenger with a step-in knee to the chin and a left uppercut-overhand right combination that sent him to the canvas, prompting referee Olivier Coste to stop the contest.
Before those two threw down in Singapore, Allycia Hellen Rodrigues came out on top in her hotly anticipated ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title unification bout versus Janet Todd.
After a spell of dominance by the interim champ in the first couple of frames, Rodrigues started establishing her combinations midway through the third stanza - landing one strike after another to extend her undefeated run in the promotion to 2-0.
Following an action-packed five-round war, Rodrigues left the Circle with a deserving unanimous decision, leaving no doubt that she remains the true queen of the atomweight Muay Thai division.
