ONE Friday Fights 11 Results And Recap: Superball Comes Out On Top In Rematch Against Kongklai

Bangkok, April 1: ONE Championship's weekly installment of action at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, delivered another night of entertaining fights from start to finish on Friday, March 31.

Several young stars, veteran strikers, and debutants impressed at ONE Friday Fights 11, and the 12-bout bill featured seven cracking finishes in the form of six knockouts and a submission win.

In the main event of the evening, Superball Tded99 took a 2-0 lead in his rivalry with Kongklai Annymuaythai, using his majestic fight IQ, raw power, and superior defense to pick up a unanimous decision win in the Thai capital.

Kongklai started the tie with plenty of confidence, sending stinging kicks to the leg and body of his foe that prevented him from closing the distance.

Superball didn't crumble, however. Instead, he remained tight in defense and found plenty of gaps in his rival's guard.

A crisp one-two combination from the Tded99 representative cracked Kongklai in the opening frame then a wild left hook floored him midway through the second round.

Sensing blood in the water, Superball went in search of a knockout at the start of the third round. Kongklai's iron-like chin refused to take a dent, however, so no finish was found.

Although the Annymuaythai star showed plenty of heart to soldier on behind his punches as the match progressed, Superball remained dominant.

He stayed one step ahead every time Kongklai feinted or tried to find space for his jab-straight combinations, and his more powerful and accurate punches proved the difference on the judges' cards in the end.
