Whenever combat sports fans hear the name Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai, the first thing that comes to their mind is his powerful left hand. The Thai striker, known for carrying dynamite in that limb, makes his return this week at ONE Friday Fights 114.
On 27 June, "Left Meteorite" will clash with #3-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender Felipe Lobo at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. This bout is crucial for both strikers, as they are at a pivotal point in their careers.

Riding a three-fight win streak, Kulabdam is eager to test himself with a top-five ranked contender. Previously a contracted ONE athlete, the 26-year-old now has his sights set on earning the life-changing six-figure deal yet again.
"I'm very happy because Felipe is a ranked fighter," Kulabdam said. "I think the promotion must see something in me to match me up against Felipe. If I can win impressively, I might get to go to compete as a contracted ONE athlete again."
As his nickname suggests, Kulabdam is known for the brutal power in his left hand - a weapon that has brought him countless victories over a career spanning nearly two decades. What's interesting is that he will face someone who is also renowned for his left punches.
"He's a counter-fighter who waits for his opponent to kick and then counters with his left punch. All his past knockouts have come from that left punch. His speed is also dangerous; he moves in and out quickly," Kulabdam acknowledged.
Thai knockout artist has been a mainstay in ONE Championship since 2019, amassing 10 phenomenal victories that include six highlight-reel finishes. He has a knack for ending fights and believes that he will add another finish to his record.
"There's an 80 percent chance the fight won't go the distance. It will probably end in the second round because I like to observe in the first round. But if he comes out strong in the first round, then I'm ready to go for the finish," Kulabdam said.
This high-stakes matchup headlines ONE Friday Fights 114, which also features fan-favorite stars like Seksan Or Kwanmuang, Suablack Tor Pran49, Aslamjon Ortikov, and more. Catch all the action live via Star Sports Select 2 and JioHotstar at 6 p.m. IST.
