ONE Friday Fights 116 delivered thrilling action from Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium on July 18. The event aired live in Asia primetime and featured multiple knockouts and a World Title eliminator.

In the main event, Nahyan Mohammed got his payback against Adam Sor Dechapan, stopping the Thai-Malaysian via TKO in their 112-pound Muay Thai rematch. The 16-year-old French-Algerian prodigy came out swinging and scored the first knockdown with a low kick followed by a three-punch combination.

Adam regained his footing but had to eat another barrage of strikes before surviving the opening round. In round two, Nahyan's combinations opened up a cut on Adam's face before cornering his opponent with punches, knees, and elbows until the referee stopped it at 1:33 of round two.

Elsewhere on the card, Ayaka Miura earned a shot at ONE Women's Atomweight MMA World Champion Denice Zamboanga with a dominant first-round submission victory over Juliana Otalora. The #2-ranked contender dragged her Colombian opponent to the canvas within seconds of the opening bell.

Miura hunted submissions until she locked in her trademark scarf-hold Americana, forcing Otalora to tap at 3:53 of round one. The victory earned Miura the ONE World Title fight at ONE 173 in Japan on November 16.

Japanese K-1 Champion Yuki Yoza scored the biggest win of his career by defeating Thai legend Petchtanong Petchfergus via unanimous decision in bantamweight kickboxing action. The two warriors fought tooth and nail over three rounds, with an early knockdown from Yoza's cracking left hand securing him the victory.
