ONE Friday Fights 118 took place at Bangkok, Thailand's iconic Lumpinee Stadium on August 1, featuring nearly two dozen fighters competing for US$100,000 contracts and spots on ONE Championship's global roster.

Worapon Lukjaoporongtom defeated Soner "Golden Boy" Sen via unanimous decision in the main event to win their 142-pound Muay Thai trilogy. Sen started aggressively with straight punches and knee strikes, but Worapon responded with clinch elbows.

The second round was interrupted by an accidental eye poke before both fighters resumed with increased intensity. Sen landed spinning elbows and head kicks, while Worapon matched with his own elbow strikes.

Another foul briefly stopped the final round, but Worapon's conditioning and pressure proved decisive. He earned the unanimous decision for his 67th professional victory and took a 2-1 series lead over Sen.

British fighter Otis Waghorn bounced back from two straight losses with a split-decision victory over Hakim Bah in bantamweight Muay Thai. Waghorn used high kicks while Bah countered with hooks in the opening round.

Waghorn's body jab disrupted Bah's timing in round two. The third round saw Waghorn dominate with combination striking to break down Bah's defense and secure the victory, improving his record to 9-2.
