Lightning knockouts, incredible comebacks, and grinding wars made ONE Friday Fights 119 absolutely electric. The latest edition of the weekly series exceeded every expectation with non-stop thrills from start to finish.
The show went live across the globe on August 8 from Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium, where about two dozen fighters battled across multiple disciplines chasing the coveted US$100,000 contract to ONE Championship.
If you missed any of the madness, here's everything that happened in the two main attractions from Thailand's most legendary venue during another unforgettable night of world-class martial arts competition.

Before their fight, Thailand's Samingdam NF Looksuan promised to hunt down Malaysia's Sonrak Fairtex relentlessly in their 140-pound Muay Thai showdown, delivering pure entertainment for everyone watching around the globe.
The opening bell saw Samingdam plant himself in ring center, immediately blasting heavy leg kicks at Sonrak's guard. The Fairtex Training Center man fired back with crisp counters just like he said he would leading up to the fight.
Samingdam, however, mixed punches into kicks and kicks into punches with beautiful rhythm. This kept Sonrak guessing and struggling to build any real momentum. Three judges unanimously gave Samingdam the win, pushing his record to 45-9.
Khunponnoi Sor Sommai rolled to 125-33 with a smooth unanimous decision over promotional debutant Walid "The Red Lion" Sakhraji in flyweight Muay Thai action. The 32-year-old veteran and brother of legend Seksan Or Kwanmuang used perfect counter-kicks to answer Sakhraji's punches.
Round two featured Khunponnoi hunting Sakhraji's head with boxing. The challenger couldn't touch the slippery Thai as counter punches kept finding their mark on jaw and cheek. The final frame brought more counter-kicks, and Khunponnoi cruised to his fifth straight series victory.
