ONE Friday Fights 24 Results: Pongsiri Overcomes Reis, Sinsamut Returns To Winning Ways

ONE Fight Night 24 saw another spectacular evening of combat sports action take place inside Lumpinee Stadium on 7 July, and it was topped off when Pongsiri PK Saenchai met Fabio Reis in the evening's bantamweight Muay Thai main event.

Reis looked to be ahead as the rounds progressed in the famous Bangkok, Thailand, venue. But Pongsiri demonstrated once again that he can never be counted out of a fight. He came to life and dropped the Portuguese puncher in the final frame with a high kick.

The head kick flipped the battle on its head as Pongsiri hunted for the finish in the final seconds. And while the 32-year-old was unable to land the finishing blow on Reis, Pongisiri was rewarded with the majority decision.

Elsewhere on the card, Sinsamut Klinmee triumphantly returned to the win column when he met Victor Teixeira in lightweight Muay Thai action. "Aquaman" was determined to show that March's loss to two-sport ONE World Champion Regian Eersel was just a bump in the road, and he did so emphatically.

After a tight first round, Sinsamut found his footing and dominated the Brazilian inside the pocket. Once the Thai standout damaged Teixeira with blistering elbows, he continued to pour on the punches until the doctor forced a stop to the action at 1:35 of round two.
