ONE Friday Fights 28 Results: Kongsuk Sees Off Jaosuayai, Suriyanlek Wrecks Songfangkhong

ONE Friday Fights 28 featured another spectacle of combat sports inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium. And the evening's main event topped off an incredible night of fights as Kongsuk Fairtex battled Jaosuayai Sor Dechapan in flyweight Muay Thai action.

Kongsuk remained in control of the contest from the get-go. The Thai's powerful strikes enabled him to keep Jaosuayai at bay, but it wasn't all one-way traffic. Jaosuayai managed to fight his way back into the contest with strong uppercuts inside the clinch.

However, it wasn't enough to topple the stocky brawler in Kongsuk. And the two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion walked away with the unanimous decision victory, improving to 62-15.

The co-main event saw Suriyanlek Por Yenying continue his fantastic run of form at ONE's Friday Fights series when he toppled Songfangkhong FA Group in 134-pound catchweight Muay Thai action.

Suriyanlek controlled the outing with his ferocious striking power to remain on the front foot of the bout. And as Songfangkhong tried to battle back in the second frame, his aggression got the better of him.

Songfangkhong rushed onto the end of Suriyanlek's beautiful counter left hook, rendering him unable to continue at 1:46 of te second round. The win took Suriyanlek's record to 77-25.
