ONE Championship will kick off September with another showcase of elite combat sports. The world's largest martial arts organization returns to Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium once more for ONE Friday Fights 31 on 1 September.

The 11-bout offering will serve up a night of Muay Thai festivities, a mixed martial arts catchweight showcase, as well as a kickboxing bout to bolster the action-packed evening of fights.

And to top it off, the night's main attraction sees the return of Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Kongthoranee Sor Sommai when he's pitted against Sherzod Kabutov in flyweight Muay Thai action.

The former has impressed inside the ONE ring. Kongthoranee boasts a 3-1 record in the promotion, with two sublime knockouts to his name. The Thai standout dispatched Gingsanglek Tor Laksong by KO at ONE Friday Fights 22, but Kabutov aims to upset the applecart in his return to action.

Another prominent bout this Friday sees Alaverdi Ramazanov clash with Italy's Allesandro Sara in bantamweight Muay Thai action. Despite coming up against legendary opposition, Ramazanov is without a win in his last two outings.

However, the former ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion in Ramazanov will be itching to score big in Lumpinee Boxing Stadium and upset Sara's return to the weight class' deep fold.

Elsewhere, heavy handed Thai compatriots Puengluang Baanramba and Seksan Fairtex will collide in flyweight Muay Thai action in what has all the makings of an instant Friday Fights classic matchup.

The pair have finished each battle they've featured in under the ONE banner, so fans will be encouraged to revert from blinking throughout as this one is expected to finish within the distance.

Lumpinee Stadium will also host a kickboxing and MMA bout this Friday. Firstly, Huo Xiaolong and Lucas Cecchetti lock horns in strawweight kickboxing. But before that, Gadzhimurad Gasanguseinov and Ilimbek Akylkbek Uulu will pull back the curtain as they compete in 139-pound MMA action.
