Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, once again played host to ONE Friday Fights 38 on 27 October. With a blockbuster card of fights, the main event between Ilyas Musaev and teenage sensation Otop Or Kwanmuang topped off an intense evening.
Otop arrived with plenty of hype following his emphatic debut in September. But Musaev was out to topple his Thai adversary's momentum. And he managed to bring the 17-year-old back down to earth inside one round.

Musaev utilized his experience from the first bell. And after landing a spinning back elbow that put the youngster down, the Russian juggernaut followed up a perfect overhand right at 2:59 to stop Otop once and for all.
The co-main event of the evening in Bangkok saw Chorfah Tor Sangtiennoi put a winning streak together with a unanimous decision win over Pompet PK Saenchai in 130-pound catchweight Muay Thai.
Chorfah managed to set the tone in the second frame, dropping Pompet with a right hand. The Thai striker then went on the hunt for the finish, but Pompet's durability allowed him to turn the fight on its head.
With all the winnings up for grabs, Chorfah put Pompet against the ropes in the final minutes. The gunslingers threw hell for leather against each other, but Chorfah's handiwork saw him take home the unanimous decision victory and put together a two-fight winning streak.
