ONE Friday Fights 42 offered up another illustrious night of fights that delivered with authority on 24 November from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. And the evening's main event topped off the action in a fitting style.
Julio Lobo and Kaonor Sor Jor Thongprajin were hungry for their first wins in ONE, but the Brazilian bruiser was the hungrier of the two as he finally found an opening to close the contest in the third frame.

The 141-pound catchweight Muay Thai battle was closely contested across the first round, but Lobo found his groove in the second when he began to land heavy strikes on Kaonor.
After a strong second stanza, Lobo smelled a finish, landing a culmination of elbows and punches that flattened Kaonor on the mat. The combination rendered the Thai unable to answer the count at 0:46 of round three, giving Lobo his first victory in ONE.
The co-main event saw Ferrari Fairtex and Kirill Khomutov go at it over three rounds in bantamweight Muay Thai and Ferrari's handiwork allowed him to pick up the unanimous decision.
Ferrari controlled the early going, booting the legs of Khomutov to hinder the Russian's movement as the pair began to figure out one another. However, Ferrari was constantly reminded not to become complacent as the wild strikes of his Russian adversary were ever-present.
The 26-year-old Thai continued attacking the legs of Khomutov. As a result, Ferrari's clinical body of work saw him put back-to-back wins together once again with the unanimous decision secured.
