ONE Championship enters Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium with another double-header this weekend. Before ONE Fight Night 17 goes down this Saturday morning, ONE Friday Fights 44 will kick-start the weekend's festivities on Friday, 8 December.

ONE Friday Fights 44 airs live in Asia primetime and is brimming with world-class martial artists looking to earn their way onto ONE Championship's main roster with the lucrative US$100,000 contract.

This Friday's main event sees two bantamweight Muay Thai prodigies lock horns in Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri and Ilyas Musaev as the pair continue to try and punch their way to the big league.

At only 21 years old and with 117 career wins to his name, Yod-IQ is one of the biggest stars in the sport. The young Thai striker has already added a pair of clinical wins to his record through ONE Friday Fights.

Yod-IQ dispatched Samuel Bielen in his promotional debut before defeating Mavlud Tupiev most recently at ONE Friday Fights 20. He looks to return to the win column after having his momentum brought to a halt this past September.

Having gotten back on track after similar setbacks, Musaev demolished Muay Thai star Otop Or Kwanmuang in the first round of their meeting at ONE Friday Fights 38 this past October.

The win saw Musaev snap a two-fight losing streak and remind the bantamweight division why he is one of the most dangerous names around. And if he can overcome the surging talent of Yod-IQ, Musaev could be on the cusp of joining ONE's elite.
