The year's end is drawing near, but ONE Friday Fights 45 kept the heat turned up as the weekly combat sports showcase returned to Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand this past 15 December.
The main event saw bantamweight Muay Thai stars Soner Sen and Otop Or Kwanmuang collide in a combustible outing that many expected to be fireworks. And those fans would be proven right as Sen stunned Otop with a first-round knockout.

It wasn't all one-way traffic, though, as Otop came out swinging hard and fast at his Turkish adversary, dropping Sen at the halfway point of the opening frame. Sen recovered to answer the count, but luck would soon turn.
With a knockout seemingly at arm's reach, the 17-year-old rushed in to close the contest. Unfortunately, as he entered the pocket, Sen timed a perfect counter right hook and planted Otop face-first to the canvas at 1:47 of round one.
In the co-main event, Chartpayak Saksatoon brought the fury against Dabdam Por Tor Tor Thongtawee in 126-pound catchweight Muay Thai, storming through his compatriot in just 60 seconds to earn his second promotional win.
Chartpayak came out fast and caught Dabdam in the clinch, setting up a thunderous knee to score the initial knockdown. After Dabdam answered the referee's count, he tried to find a way back into the bout before walking onto Chartpayak's counter left hook that ended the fight immediately.
