After a year in which ONE Championship placed Muay Thai in the spotlight, the world's largest martial arts organization will close out 2023 with another stacked striking card of epic proportions.

ONE Friday Fights 46: Tawanchai vs. Superbon takes place this Friday, 22 December, at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and two striking titans will finally collide in featherweight Muay Thai action.

After entering the weight bracket's kickboxing realm, reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai returns to "the art of eight limbs" to lock horns with former ONE featherweight kickboxing king Superbon Singha Mawynn.

Tawanchai last defended his crown against Jamal Yusupov at ONE Fight Night 13 in August, smashing the Turk's leg to bits in under a minute to assert his dominance once more. Since then, the 24-year-old has won back-to-back outings.

But since rising to stardom, Tawanchai's name has stood next to that of Superbon's. And after two previous cancellations, the Thai legends will finally duke it out this Friday at Lumpinee.

The evening marks new territory for Superbon, however. Challenging Tawanchai for his ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title will be his first venture into 4-ounce gloves in ONE. That creates a whole new dynamic surrounding Superbon's strategy.

The former kickboxing overlord has made a career of knocking out his foes with blistering kicks, and he's followed suit in ONE with head-kick finishes of Giorgio Petrosyan and Tayfun Ozcan.

Superbon's 2023 didn't get off to a great start when he parted ways with the ONE featherweight kickboxing crown, but ONE Friday Fights 46 allows him to end his year in style and leave with gold laced around him once again.
