Just when ONE Friday Fights 46: Tawanchai vs. Superbon looked as if it wouldn't get any more exciting, the return of former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai overlord Nong-O Hama was thrown into the mix.
The divisional titan will step back into Lumpinee Boxing Stadium's world-famous ring in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, 22 December, against surging Scottish striker Nico Carrillo. And the collision between two explosive styles will only make for fireworks as ONE closes out an emphatic year of fights.

Nong-O has become a stalwart member of the ONE's bantamweight Muay Thai world. The Thai striker defended the crown on seven consecutive occasions, toppling bids from Alaverdi Ramazanov, Liam Harrison, and Felipe Lobo to name a few.
But his unbeaten run in the promotion came to a grinding halt this past April at ONE Fight Night 9 when the Thai legend shockingly lost the gold to now two-sport ONE World Champion Jonathan Haggerty via first-round knockout.
Nong-O hasn't been seen in action since. And with a point to prove against a rising star, the former king will be out to show that ONE Fight Night 9 was just a bump in the road. Carrillo, however, is well aware of the seismic opportunity awaiting him.
"King of the North" has wasted little time introducing himself to the masses in ONE, electrifying Lumpinee Stadium with his dazzling performances in ONE's Friday Fights series, scoring multiple stoppages.
The former ISKA Muay Thai World Champion demolished Furkan Karabag in his debut at ONE Friday Fights 13 this past April before delivering his most prolific showing yet at ONE Friday Fights 22 by knocking out Muangthai PK Saenchai.
The coveted finishes have slotted him in as the #5-ranked contender in the bantamweight Muay Thai realm. And coming up against Nong-O provides an opportunity to soar up the ladder to World Title contention.
ONE Friday Fights 46 looks to close out the year for the world's largest martial arts organization in style. And more bouts are expected to be added in the coming weeks.
