ONE Friday Fights 49 kicked off a massive weekend for ONE Championship. And the action from inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium has kept fans satisfied until this Sunday's combustible ONE 165 card in Tokyo, Japan.
That said, Nakrob Fairtex and Pettonglor Sitluangpeenumfon headlined this week's festivities in the Muay Thai mecca in an absolute striking classic on 26 January. And the former pulled off an inspired comeback to earn the unanimous decision over Pettonglor.

Pettonglor entered the frame looking the sharper, crisper striker. And that quickly became evident as he dropped Nakrob at the two-minute mark of the opening round, oozing confidence in doing so.
You cannot count Nakrob out of a fight, though, and it showed as he came back with a vengeance in the second round. The 25-year-old ruthlessly attacked the legs of Pettonglor, turning the tide to even the score entering the all important final frame.
And when the going got tough, Nakrob proved he was the hungrier combatant as he managed to land the cleaner, sharper strikes on Pettonglor to drop him twice in the final 60 seconds. With the bout turned on its head, Nakrob took home the unanimous decision as a result.
The co-main event saw a pivotal strawweight Muay Thai rematch between Kongchai Chanaidonmueang and Xavier Gonzalez, where the former managed to go 2-0 over the Spaniard in a three-round scrap for the ages.
With the defeat of the first fight on his mind, Gonzalez attempted to put pressure on Kongchai. But the Thai refused to wilt under Gonzalez's punches. Kongchai then began to take control in the second frame, utilizing signature knees and elbows.
The 21-year-old began to cruise in the third frame, figuring out the Spaniard's tendencies en route to picking up the unanimous decision and settling the feud once and for all.
