ONE Championship continues its ultra-busy year this Friday, 23 February, when ONE Friday Fights 53 brings the heat back to Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. The latest installment sees more world-class Muay Thai and a portion of MMA and kickboxing contests.
The evening's headliner features accomplished flyweight Thai standouts Petsukumvit Boi Bangna and Kongsuk Fairtex. They lace up the gloves for the always-possible chance to earn a lucrative six-figure main roster contract with ONE.

For Petsukumvit, life in ONE Friday Fights started in glamorous fashion. The two-time Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion earned three straight wins in the weekly series. However, he's since fallen on hard times with two consecutive defeats to Jaosuayai Sor Dechapan.
Kongsuk also finds himself in a similar situation. The 23-year-old got off the mark with victories over Paidang Kiatsongrit and Jaosuayai, but has since failed to register another win, losing back-to-back decisions to Dedduanglek TDed99 and Pettonglor Sitluangpeenumfon.
Undoubtedly, the pair have the ability to reach new heights in ONE Championship, having claimed prestigious accolades in Thailand already. But the world's largest martial arts organization only welcomes the best. And if either party plans to advance, victory will be at the forefront of their minds this Friday night.
