ONE Friday Fights 57 Results: Panrit Outlasts Balyko, Jurayev Finishes Numpangna

On Friday, March 29, ONE Championship returned to the famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and delivered yet another exciting night of mixed martial arts and Muay Thai action.

In the main event of ONE Friday Fights 57, Thai rising star Panrit Lukjaomaesaiwaree and Russia's Alexey Balyko produced an instant classic with nine minutes of intense Muay Thai action.

Panrit scored an early eight-count on Balyko with a sharp left hook. The 140-pound catchweight bout was fairly even after that, with both athletes finding plenty of opportunities to outscore each other.

The Thai executed his counter-attacks to perfection, while Balyko kept charging with his powerful punches. The early knockdown in the first round was enough for all three judges to award Panrit with the unanimous decision win, and he moved his professional record to an impressive 71-29.

After being winless in his first two bouts in ONE, Shakhriyor Jurayev needed a strong performance in his 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai contest against Numpangna Eaglemuaythai, and he delivered just that.

The Uzbek striker started the match aggressively with his push kicks and even managed to put his opponent on the canvas. Numpangna retaliated with a fierce body kick, but Jurayev countered with a vicious right hook.

Jurayev stayed aggressive in round two, constantly attacking the Eagle Muay Thai representative. Despite Numpangna's efforts to find his footing, the 23-year-old sent him to the ground with a left elbow and the referee called off the match. With his KO win, Jurayev extended his all-striking record to 36-3.
