Before ONE Fight Night 22: Sundell vs. Diachkova took centerstage in Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on Saturday morning, ONE Friday Fights 61 had warmed fans up with 12 bouts across elite Muay Thai and MMA action.
The action went down on Friday, 3 May, inside the Muay Thai mecca. The main event saw a scintillating contest as Duangsompong Jitmuangnon collided with Petsukumvit Boi Bangna in a flyweight Muay Thai fiasco.

Duangsompong pressed his foot on the gas from the first bell, pressuring Petsukumvit to see what he could handle. And naturally, that forced the latter to fight back as an outstanding opening round developed.
The pair began to trade strikes and look for openings as the bout went on. However, the patience and meticulous striking of Duangsompong allowed him to stay in control of the contest.
Ultimately, once the 26-year-old took hold of the contest, he never let go. And that allowed him to pocket the unanimous decision as a result in the evening's Muay Thai main event.
Meanwhile, the co-main event saw Abdallah Ondash prove his worth in a striking masterclass across three rounds of strawweight Muay Thai against Suesat Namop Gym to pick up his fourth promotional win in a row.
The Lebanon brawler brought the fight to his Thai adversary immediately. While weary of Suesat's counters, Ondash tested the waters with high kicks and hard hooks to set up a strong foundation he knew he could build upon.
The 22-year-old continued his pursuit for a third-stoppage against his durable elder, throwing wild combinations at the head of Suesat. The Thai's durability was on show once again, allowing him to see the final round.
However, Ondash laid it on even more in the third frame, never letting Suesat catch his breath. And that proved to be more than enough to earn the unanimous decision win.
