ONE Championship returns tonight for its monthly double-header inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. This Friday, May 3, ONE Friday Fights 61 kicks off festivities with a card that promises explosive action from the first bell.
The event features 10 elite Muay Thai contests and two MMA tilts and, to top it off, the flyweight Muay Thai main event is bound to send fans home happier than when they arrived.

Topping the bill, Petsukumvit Boi Bangna tangles with Duangsompong Jitmuangnon in a battle that pits two of the most exhilarating strikers against one another. The pair hold numerous accolades in Muay Thai, and their combustible styles will not disappoint.
A two-time Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion, Petsukumvit's ONE Championship tenure got off without a hitch. The Thai star won his first three outings impressively, but since then his luck just hasn't quite been the same.
Two setbacks to Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi and Kongsuk Fairtex have Petsukumvit in dire need of a victory. He's previously shown what he's capable of. But as the saying goes, you're only as good as your last fight.
So, in order to put his name back in the win column, the 25-year-old needs a strong performance against his compatriot in Duangsompong. But his opposition finds himself in a similar situation.
Across four promotional appearances, Duangsompong hasn't quite managed to tie a win streak together. His mixed bag of results has led to a bumpy road in the organization. But to his credit, the Jitmuangnon student has never had a boring fight.
Exciting fights are all well and good for the time being for both men. But if they continue to dream of clinching the lucrative US$100,000 contract, one of the decorated Thais will have to show they are hungrier than the other this Friday.
