ONE Friday Fights 62 took over Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium this past Friday, 10 May, lighting up the iconic venue once again with more world-class Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA action.

In the main event, ET Wankhongohm MBK managed to topple Mongkolkaew Sor Sommai in a 130-pound catchweight Muay Thai rematch following their first affair in November 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 39.

The outing began as a close-knit affair with ET looking to make something happen. With plenty of bragging rights on the line, neither was willing to take the leap too early. But the 29-year-old's efforts to get things going put him ahead.

ET picked up the pace in the second frame, mixing up his combinations and utilized his long limbs in order to impose his will on Mongkolkaew. But it was the third frame where all hell let loose.

The TDed99 rep dropped Mongkolkaew with a huge left elbow immediately before following up with a sprinting strike to put him down once more. Damaged, his Thai compatriot managed to see out the fight, allowing ET to leave with the unanimous decision secured.

The featured bout of the evening saw Looknam Kor Khomkleaw defeat Chabakaew after a one-sided clinical performance in her promotional debut in atomweight Muay Thai action, following three-rounds of surgical strikes.

Looknam never let her Thai compatriot in with a chance of outstriking her, using smart movement and technical combinations to keep Chabakaew guessing. And after it was all said and done, Looknam went on her way with the unanimous decision locked in.
