Before ONE 167: Tawanchai vs. Nattawut II takes over Bangkok, Thailand's Impact Arena on Saturday, ONE Friday Fights 66 kicked off the monumental weekend of combat sports inside the great city's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on Friday, 7 June.
The evening's main event saw Akram Hamidi return to winning ways in stunning fashion after wiping the floor with Kongchai Chanaidonmueang in strawweight Muay Thai action. The Algerian needed less than two minutes to get the job done.

Hamidi pressured Kongchai from the start, landing heavy shots on his Thai adversary that forced him to back into a corner. Rather than lay off, "La Pepite" continued to hammer home on Kongchai.
The three-time ISKA Kickboxing World Champion dropped his nemesis with a stern left hook. And once Kongchai answered the referee's count, Hamidi torpedoed himself right back at the Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion to land a plethora of unanswered shots, forcing a stoppage at 1:41 of round one.
In the featured bout of the evening, Yod-IQ Pimolsri made a statement in his heated 149-pound catchweight Muay Thai rematch with Mavlud Tifiyev, knocking him out in just under two minutes of the first frame.
The Thai striker ate big shots early on, but after loosening up, the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym athlete battered his foe with body shots against the ropes to send Tifiyev down to the mat for good at 1:58 of round one. Here is a look at the ONE Lumpinee 66 final results:
