ONE Friday Fights is back in your life with its 75th edition of the weekly series. Twelve more enthralling Muay Thai and MMA contests go down inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium.
And after last week's showcase, this Friday's bunch will look to go above and beyond the call of duty. On 16 August, a highly-anticipated 127-pound catchweight Muay Thai main event kicks off when Kompet Fairtex faces Omar El Halabi, as the Thai looks to continue his run of form while the Lebanesean hopes to regain momentum altogether.

Kompet has always been held in high regard since arriving in ONE's weekly spectacle. Following his debut loss to now-two-sport ONE Strawweight World Champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai at ONE Friday Fights 1 in January 2023, the 24-year-old has won all four outings.
The two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion earned his way to the upper echelon of the division with a knockout win over Daren Rolland at ONE Friday Fights 47 this past January and decision wins over Kongchai Chanaidonmueang and Huo Xiaolong thereafter.
But what he hopes to achieve this Friday night in the Muay Thai mecca is a lucrative main roster contract worth US$100,000 and another crack at Prajanchai. But El Halabi believes he has all the tools to throw a spanner in the works.
The Lebanese hitter hasn't always been on the winning side, but what he brings is an aggressive, intense approach to fighting that's enough to put the very best on their heels.
So much so that at ONE Friday Fights 45 last December, "Ironside" managed to overthrow accoladed Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Yodthongthai Sor Sommai - so he's very capable of giving Kompet the same treatment.
Even still, El Halabi rides a wave of mixed momentum in ONE Championship. And he knows a resounding victory against a fellow established star in Kompet could be exactly what he needs to punch his ticket to the mainstage in the world's largest martial arts organization.
